Yep! After a lot of prodding from members of my household, I've finally set up a new server; the first new server since I upgraded the underlying server hardware a bit over a year ago...
The server's been up a week already, as (due to being a direct Curseforge modpack port) the server existed before the (locally available version of the) modpack did.
There is also a map.

Also, I've updated the modpack and the bootstrap that fetches it to incorporate the latest changes from upstream. If you are not currently having any trouble, you can probably blissfully ignore this update. Otherwise see the troubleshooting instructions here.
Yep, what you've all been waiting for - a Stardew Valley inspired modpack! There is also a test server available for testing before I create the real one.
A new modpack, and a slightly updated launcher. Also, check your launcher version - as of writing you should be running version v4.6-SNAPSHOT+polytopia5.20220328. If the Update Launcher button seems to have no effect, you might need to nuke the launcher jar's lurking somewhere in your home directory.

Bump forge version. If a Java update broke Minecraft, then this release should help. If things didn't break for you, then your Java is probably out of date...
I've released an update to the modpack to match the update lws did to the server last night. The pack has been renamed from 'el2-1.16.5-1.11' to just 'el2' (because it's not 1.11 any more). You'll need to either redo all your settings, or just rename the directory in your instances folder to just 'el2'. Sorry. You won't need to do this for future updates.
Repackaged with some of my usual extras. I also updated the el5 pack, adding Roadrunner, which should make the game run a bit faster, at the possible expense of slight longer startup time.
The launcher has been updated due to upstream changes. It's also needed to support 1.18, and the upcoming migration of Mojang accounts to Microsoft accounts. Hope you remember your Mojang password!
I've repackaged the Engineer's Life 2 pack from curseforge, as used in lws's new server. My version adds some bling (and removes sodium, so if you're not using fancy graphics it may run a little slower)...

I've been quietly updating the test version of the modpack. Have added connected-glass, essential-modern-construction-block-32px-edition, improved-windows, macaws-furniture, pane-in-the-glass.
Updated modpack and server for both test and prod. Added Chicken Chunks (by request) and also a datapack that nerfs creepers slightly, to allow me to turn mobGriefing back on.

Another change is that the launcher now uses HTTPS instead of HTTP. You will need to click that Update Launcher button before I disable plain HTTP on my webserver (probably some time in the new year)!

Though the server might not actually be running if I've turned it off to make more CPU available for the main server.

BTW if you notice occasional second-long pauses during the game, this might be Java performing garbage collection (a memory management "feature"). If this annoys you, try adding "-XX:+UseG1GC" to the JVM arguments in the launcher options.
